```Job Summary```
We are seeking a reliable and responsible individual to join our team as a Child School Transportation Driver. As a driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting children to and from school. This is an important role that requires excellent driving skills, a strong commitment to safety, and exceptional customer service.
```Responsibilities```
- Safely operate designated vehicle
Please note if you are interested in this your vehicle must be from years 2011 and up ONLY
SMOKE FREE, MAINTENACE ON VEHICLE KEPT UP TO DATE, FULL COVERAGE, REGISTERED I GEORGIA, VEHICLE MUST BE IN YOUR NAME IF NOT COMPANY CAR. CLEAN DRIVING RECORD, VALID DRIVERS LICENSE
- Pick up and drop off children at designated locations
- Follow assigned routes and schedules
- Ensure the safety of all passengers on board
- Maintain order and discipline among students during transportation
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Report any incidents, accidents, or mechanical issues to the appropriate authorities
- Provide excellent customer service to parents, students, school, and company coordinators
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience in school bus driving, paratransit, limousine, or similar transportation roles is preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects (e.g., backpacks, strollers) as needed
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations
- Commercial driving experience is a plus
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Random drug test
